The R1 Down Tech Jacket W combines maximum warmth with powerful weather protection. High-quality RDS-certified down provides excellent insulation, while the innovative R’Tech Nano technology with a hydrophobic, microporous PU membrane reliably keeps moisture out while allowing moisture vapour to escape. With a 40,000 mm water column and breathability of 25,000 g/m²/24 h, the jacket offers outstanding protection and comfort in demanding winter conditions.

The exceptionally soft lining, volume-adjustable hood, and functional pocket configuration provide additional comfort. R’Sonic construction and a PFC-free finish complete this technical winter jacket.

This technology is behind it

R'Sonic

Layers of fabric can be cut and welded together using an ultrasound-activated wheel. After unfolding, the kissing seam is permanently reinforced on the inside with a fabric tape, resulting in ultra-flat and elastic fabric bonds.

PFC free

The durable water repellency is ensured without the use of forever chemicals (PFAS). Radys was the first brand worldwide to switch the entire collection to PFC-free water repellency in 2014, making it an industry pioneer praised by Greenpeace.

R'Tech

Thanks to a waterproof and moisture-absorbing membrane, a high water column and high water vapor permeability are achieved. The membrane is 100% airtight.

H-Construction

The vertical connecting fabrics ensure a consistently voluminous insulation layer and prevent cold bridges. This technology is used by Radys for waterproof down jackets without damaging the outer fabric with needles and thread.

R'Down

Radys uses only RDS-certified down with an 800 cuin fill power. This creates the best warmth-to-weight ratio while keeping the pack volume as small as possible. Perfect for demanding use in mountaineering.
