Radys Founder and Visionary

Adrian Ruhstaller

Adrian Ruhstaller fulfilled his dream of having his own mountain sports collection at the age of 30, a dream he had nurtured since he was 14. With many years of experience in the textile industry (C&A, Mammut, Belowzero), he leads Radys with passion and innovative spirit from the company headquarters in Büron, Lucerne.

As a father of two children, climate protection is especially close to his heart – at Radys, intensive work is being done to make products and the industry more sustainable and suitable for future generations.

20 Years Radys - Tour de Suisse

In 2023, Radys celebrated its 20th anniversary with a special tour through Switzerland:

With skis and his gravel bike, Adrian Ruhstaller covered 370 kilometers and 8,848 meters of elevation from Samnaun to Zermatt in just three days. On this impressive anniversary tour, he visited 16 sports retailers and personally thanked them for their long-standing cooperation.

R'Sonic

Layers of fabric can be cut and welded together using an ultrasound-activated wheel. After unfolding, the kissing seam is permanently reinforced on the inside with a fabric tape, resulting in ultra-flat and elastic fabric bonds.

PFC free

The durable water repellency is ensured without the use of forever chemicals (PFAS). Radys was the first brand worldwide to switch the entire collection to PFC-free water repellency in 2014, making it an industry pioneer praised by Greenpeace.

R'Greenmint

By adding mint extracts to the spinning mass of cellulose-based viscose, optimal antibacterial odor inhibition is achieved.

R'Tech

Thanks to a waterproof and moisture-absorbing membrane, a high water column and high water vapor permeability are achieved. The membrane is 100% airtight.
